Happy 14 months, E-man!
The months are flying by! Here are some of the things E-man has been up to lately:
He's talking a lot. He says "agua" very clearly and he makes lots of sounds starting with ma, da, ba, ga, ze (we think he's trying to say Izzy).
He likes to take stuff out of the cabinet and then put it back in its place and raise his arm in the air and say "YAY!!!" (and repeat that cycle about 20 times).
He LOVES to climb. On anything. He was standing on a little 4" cube the other day, just cuz it was fun.
He gives lots of hugs, especially to Izzy, and he loves to blow kisses and wave bye-bye.
He loves to play peek-a-boo -
...and run away from you when he's doing something he knows he's not supposed to do.
He loves pointing at things, especially in the sky...birds, airplanes, helicopters.
He loves sitting in your lap and having a book read to him, or sitting in front of Izzy while she reads to him (and her other "kids").
Mostly he loves to give big toothy smiles and be goofy:

Ethan's New Hiding Spot
Lately E-man has been exploring all of the built-in cabinets, and he found a cozy hiding spot/lounging spot where he sometimes takes a little break from all of his running around.

Now this feels like Summer!
It may have been hot everywhere else all Summer, but in San Diego we felt robbed of a 'real' Summer. We've finally had a few beautiful, sunny, warm weekends. This weekend really felt like Summer, at last.
The Babe and E-man had fun at the neighborhood block party. Face painting, balloon animals, jumpy castle, they had it all.
E-man was just happy to be walking all around:

We also enjoyed a nice home cooked Japanese dinner with our friends John, Lisa, and Mia. Izzy especially had fun playing with Mia, 5 1/2.
