The Babe loves practicing her baby yoga w/mama and daddy. Her favorite pose is the one we call "Hug It Out" -- here she is in action:

Yoga Mamas and Babies Get Together

Today the Babe and I met five other yoga mamas (Eve, Nelwyn, Polina, Marni, and Claudia) and their babies (Ecco, Lucca, Jack, Koehn, and Jacob) at Balboa Park for lunch, a walk, and some play time. It was a beautiful sunny San Diego day and the babies all enjoyed lounging on a towel on the grass (the mamas did too!).

Motherly Instincts

Today after the Babe & I returned from "Mommy & Me" yoga class, we found a teeny tiny baby bird on our doorstep. It must have fallen from a nest, but after searching all around the house we couldn't find a nest anywhere. My motherly instincts kicked in and we made a bed for the birdie out of a small box with some tissue and fed it some of Gumbo's food mushed up. Then we dropped the birdie off at Project Wildlife so that it can be cared for properly. Although it was a short encounter, we were all sad to see birdie go. Here's a video of me feeding birdie:

I Love Tummy Time!

I'm almost 12 weeks old, and my tummy time is really paying off! Look at how strong I am now -- I can lift my head so high!

Farm Equipment

This past weekend we got a new (to us!) piece of farm equipment. We traded in our dear old Honda Accord (Sylvester) for a newer Honda CR-V (who is in need of a name, any suggestions?). The old girl is happy for the room in the back as you can tell from the photo below. Today we loaded up the family and headed to the dog beach on Coronado. The Babe also got to try out her new transport, the Maya wrap sling.

Just Shoot Me

Yesterday the Babe had her first modeling gig as our friend, Meredith Park, came over to do a photo shoot. We had a great time and took lots and lots of great pictures. Luckily, no one got a shot of when the Babe peed on her Dad.

Happy Easter!

Today we ventured over to the Baldwins for a yummy brunch. Mama made some really good strawberry tart and a breakfast pizza. The Babe got to hang out in a bunch of people's arms and fell asleep in Dad's nook while watching the Planet Earth video.

Furniture

On Saturday, the family took a trip to the local institution of higher learning to attend our friend Forest's final thesis show. The Babe got to see some of our friends and also some really cool pieces of furniture.
