HOT HOT HOT

Sunday was another hot day here on the Farm. Since the Babe had such a great time playing in the Spitzbergs' pool, we decided to get one too. We also got a sun shade to take with us to the beach so we decided to break that out too.

Saturday was going to be a hot one here on the Farm so we decided to head east (where it's even hotter!) to the outlet mall with our neighbors, Jeremy, Laura, and their kids, Melanie and Jenna. Afterwards, we hung out in their backyard - played in a kiddie pool, ate some food, and tried to stay cool.

Gonna be sunny so put on your shades!

The Babe loves dancing to music...sometimes she's picky about the tunes she dances to.

The Babe has been learning all sorts of new stuff - what sounds other animals make and identifying different body parts.

Daddy, Aunt Koko, Aunt Koko's friend Annika, the Babe and I spent last Saturday in Newport Beach/Corona del Mar. The Babe had a lot of fun talking to the topiary dolphins and playing in the grass.

Izzy's new "belt"

One of the Babe's favorite things to do is to "help" us with the laundry by going through it and spreading it all over the house. She also likes to wear some of mama and daddy's clothes. Here she is with her new "belt" (Daddy's knee brace).

Water Baby

One of the days that the Babe's daycare was closed, Daddy took the Babe to the beach to brave the coooold Pacific. Here she is getting ready.

This suit was a wee bit too small....



...so she went with the poofy one instead.

Preppin' the Crop

Daddy got busy in the garden and planted a bunch of stuff: tomatoes, cantaloupe, yellow squash, sugar snap peas, green beans, basil, and bok choy. Spinach & lettuce to come too!

Meanwhile, the Babe has learned how to climb up the deck and get around the yard on her own.

San Diego MudRun - April 2008

Marc, Seiko and some of Marc's coworkers from Active Network participated in the San Diego MudRun today.

Now that it's really warm out, we've been spending more and more time out in the backyard. The Babe likes sitting in her own chair, like a big girl.
