The Spitzbergs' Memorial Day Triathlon and Aquathon

We spent our Memorial Day morning at the Spitzbergs' house for the Second Annual Scripps Ranch Memorial Day Triathlon/Aquathon/Aquabike. After a nice swim in the pool (1/4 mile for Daddy, 1/2 mile for Mama), Daddy and the others headed out for a hilly 12 mile bike, and Mama did a 5k run. And then everyone else had to do the run, too. We thanked Jeremy at the end for throwing those hills in the course!

Cajun Country

This weekend we got to go back to the scene of our wedding at Jefferson Island in New Iberia, Louisiana to celebrate my cousin Michelle's wedding. It was also a family reunion of sorts for my mom's side of the family, and what fun we had reminiscing (and dancing!) with everyone! Here are some highlights from our trip:
