Big Boy Bed!

Last weekend, we decided to graduate E-man from the crib and get him a big boy bed. The first two nights were a dream -- he got into bed and stayed in bed the entire night. The third night, he ended up completely underneath the bed and woke up terrified. Every night since he has been testing the limits of getting out of bed and peeking out the door into the living room, laughing hysterically and running back into bed before he gets scolded. We never had these challenges, I mean fun, with Izzy. But one thing is for sure, Ethan definitely loves his new bed.

Visit with Jen, Sarah, and the Kleins

Our friends Jen and Sarah were in town visiting Sarah's parents, and we spent a lovely evening at their house in Golden Hill. It was fun to meet such wonderful people (Lou and Marnie Klein) and it was a treat to be guests in their beautiful, artistic home.

Disneyland with the Camaratas

Tita Lisa, Uncle Dave, Jackson, Christian and Gianni were in Newport Beach for the week, and we were lucky enough to spend a couple of days with them. Thanks to Uncle Dave for getting the VIP tour package to Disneyland / California Adventure and letting us join in the fun! Iz was super adventurous and went on 16 (!) rides with her cousins including Space Mountain ("It was fast, Mama, but not too fast! I was a little scared, but not too scared!"), Splash Mountain, Soarin' Over California. E-man is still too little for many of the rides but he loved going on Winnie the Pooh ("E-pooh!"), Monsters Inc, Toy Story, Little Mermaid, etc.
