Super butterfly girl

Izzy went to her friend Haley's "Superheroes Chocolate & Vanilla" birthday party today and she came home with handmade capes for herself and Ethan. She also came back as a beautiful butterfly:

Mama did the Hot Chocolate 15k this morning with Ragnar teammates Alexis and Michael. Challenging course, but the chocolate fondue at the end made it worth it!
The kids benefited from the chocolate run too -- they enjoyed Mama's unfinished chocolate fondue.

Happy birthday, Gumbo!

Although there is some intra-family debate over the age of our beloved Gumbo (Marc says she's 10, I say she's 9, Gumbo says we're both wrong), we celebrate her birthday on March 12th -- the day we rescued her 7 years ago. Happy birthday, Gummies!
