E-town Trip, Summer 2012

Mama, Izzy, and Ethan headed to Evanston to celebrate Mama's 20th High School Reunion (!) and to spend some quality time with Momo and Jiji. Highlights included: feeding the worms, a visit to the Botanic Gardens (and the beautiful Butterfly exhibit), riding on the "L," running through the sprinkler, feeding the ducks at Lovelace, Ethan holding baby Polly, catching lightning bugs!

SD Int'l Tri 2012

We went to cheer for Daddy and Christopher in the SD International Triathlon today. They both did a great job and beat their goal times. Nice work, boys!

Our little graduate

On June 22nd, 2012, Izzy donned her cap and gown and walked for her preschool graduation. Mama, Daddy, and Ethan were very proud witnesses of this monumental event. (Actually it wasn't that different than any other day at preschool except that they wore caps and gowns. :))

She's been with most of these kids since she was 18mos old -- it's the end of an era! Thankfully two of her classmates, Evie and Joejoe, will be at the same elementary school come September.
