Christmas 2011

This Christmas we took the KanoUeva show on the road, first to L.A. (Venice) to see Koko, Momo & Jiji, and then to Phoenix to see Lola, Lolo, Tita Lisa, Uncle Dave, Jackson, Christian, Gianni, Tito Ernest, and Linsey. It was a lot of driving, but Izzy, Ethan, and Gumbo were all troopers (until the last 20 minutes of each trip, which is understandable) and we had a wonderful time with both families. Here are some highlights from the trip. As always, I took a ton of photos. Here is the entire album, if you're interested in scrolling through.

Crazy Lights

There's a house in our neighborhood that goes all out (and I mean ALL OUT) with lights and decorations for certain holidays -- 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas. Leading up to Christmas, Iz & Ethan would ask to drive by the "crazy lights house" every day on the way home from school. Once night we stopped, got out of the car and walked around so that we could hear the accompanying music and experience the craziness in person.

These pictures don't do the craziness justice, by the way.
