The Babe Goes to "Di-si-ney-land"

The Babe and Mama got to experience the wonderful(ly expensive) world of Disney on Wednesday, as a joint bday present for the Babe and a bday party for her friend, Maddie. We met five of the Babe's friends there and had a fun-filled, non-stop day of rides, walking, amazingly few spats and NO meltdowns (despite no nap)!

E-man and the Babe donned the birthday hat a few days late to keep Izzy's bday celebration going:

A Hoot of a Party

Today, the Babe had her first ever birthday party to celebrate the big 3. With the rain, we were all forced to be inside. (We're not used to having to stay inside in SoCal!) We rearranged the furniture a bit to maximize our space, but it turned out just fine for the kids...they all just crowded in Izzy's room anyway!

The Babe Turns Three!

Today the Babe woke up a brand new, three-year old girl. She picked out her own outfit and got dressed all by herself and couldn't wait to get to school to share her bday cupcakes with her fellow Dragonflies.

We are having a small party in the park for her on Saturday (which is what all the owl practice is for), so more photos will follow. We're still celebrating today but on a smaller scale:
