The Babe had an early doc's appt so she hung out with me until it was time to go. After watching TV for 15 minutes, she gets up, turns the TV off, and says "Daddy do you wanna dance?". I put on some Morcheeba and she broke out her best moves. I managed to get a few seconds on video:

Why have we been so delinquent about updating the blog? Because we've been passing a nasty virus around within the family (and probably outside of the family too :( ) for what feels like MONTHS! It's only been a few weeks, but we are SO ready for this cold/flu (and teething) season to be over!

Today The Babe and E-man both had to stay home from school b/c of fevers, coughs, runny noses. Ethan's is a combo virus/ear infection/teething - what wonderful timing on the teething.

Thankfully both kids are troopers and are still fun even when they're sick. Here they are playing together in bed this morning:

We love our neighborhood. We are so lucky to have such wonderful neighbors, Jessica & Kelly, who have become very dear friends of ours. And it's a bonus that their son, Porter, has become one of the Babe's best friends. They're a little over a year apart, but Izzy & Porter understand each other. They don't always share as nicely as we'd like, but you can tell that they really love each other...I guess they're like brother and sister. :) We hope that Izzy & Ethan get along as well as these two! Jessica captured some wonderful shots of the two of them this morning:

The other night the Babe put this outfit on: her footsie pajamas, Daddy's shoes, and the birthday hat. Then she proceeded to make all of us laugh w/her funny faces. (These would be best viewed as a flip book, really.)
