This weekend the Lewis family came into town all the way from Norway. On Sunday, the whole crew assembled at Robbo's gaff for a BBQ and some kid playtime.

Bird Park #2

The next Bird Park Concert was here before we knew it. We headed over to the park with the Spitzbergs, Robbo, and Aunt Koko. We met the neighbors, Kelly, Jessica, and little Porter Macgoo there. Another fun time in North Park.

4th of July

For the 4th of July, we again headed up to La Jolla Shores Beach near the Scripps Pier. Uncle Robbo works right there so we were able to park right on the beach. We spent the day surfing, eating, body boarding, playing Bocce, eating, and playing in the sand. Afterwards, we fired up the BBQ (thx C&D for the propane!) and had Jere and Naomi join us. What a great way to celebrate our independence from those awful Brits (just kidding Robbo).

Weekend getaway in Idyllwild

Last weekend we rented a cabin out in Idyllwild (about a 2 hour drive from San Diego) with some of our neighbors, Kelly/Jessica/Porter (3 mos) and Jean/Mark/Ryan (15 mos).

The cabin was great, and the surroundings were beautiful (although I didn't get too many photos of the latter...it's all about the kids these days!).
