Low key weekend

We didn't have any big outings or activities this weekend. We kept it low key and hung around the neighborhood, which is fine by us! Here are some of the highlights:

More fun with hats!
E-man the cowboy:

E-man the ladybug:

Iz & Porter, being silly (what's new?):

We checked out the construction going on at the end of the block:

(E-man was mesmerized by it)

My sous chef Iz & I baked some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies:

And, as always, there was lots of tickling:

Wait--did you make cookies BY HAND?? As in no mixer? My mixer has been broken for 4 months, and I have not made a single baked good as a result.

Adorable. Love the pic of iz with the cookies. Also iz and p being goof balls. I love them.

Laura,
That would be so impressive. We're not Amish. :) But we did use the hand mixer instead of the Kitchen Aid (too lazy to drag it out).

More importantly though, your mixer BROKE!?!? I don't now how you have survived. And how has there not been a blog post about this tragedy?

That looks like a GREAT weekend!! What's the construction? I'm so happy to see the cowboy hat is still around. :)
