Thanksgiving in Austin

We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving week in Austin with our dear friends, Monique ("Auntie Momo"), Neal ("Uncle Neal"), Nico ("Sophia" :)), and Bailey ("Ailey"). Between all the wonderful food (Franklins, Hoovers, El Chilito, TacoDeli, Shortbus Subs, Mighty Cone, Salvation Pizza, Nuevo Leon, Phil's, Whataburger, Cherrywood Cafe, and our own stellar cooking), endless laughs (mostly thanks to Kermit and the $250 organic potatoes), fun outings (parks, bike rides, farmers market, museum -- ok, that one was more stressful than fun), a delicious Thanksgiving day and night with wonderful friends (and the first annual I like to MOVe IT Turkey Trot), it was a trip that the Kanoueva-Kano UEVAs will never forget. Iz and Ethan are already asking when we're going back to Texas. (Ethan actually demanded that we go back today but Izzy gently informed him that we probably wouldn't be going back today.) We had so much fun -- thank you for having us, M & N & N!

Here are just a fraction of the photos from the trip to give you some highlights. If you're bored and feel like looking at all 377 photos (!), here is the link to the full album.

"Don't smile, Nico. Don't do it! DON'T DO IT!"

Ethan still wakes up asking to say Good Morning to this rooster:

If only this had actually worked:
