DC/NC 2012

For our FAV (Friends Annual Vacation) 2012 we flew to DC, spent a few days reacquainting ourselves with the city, and then drove to the Outer Banks, NC and enjoyed a big beach house for a week. It was incredibly fun for all -- not just for the 10 kids (Izzy, Ethan, Michael, Joshua, Matthew, Kiley, Alex, Brigid, Marco, Ella) but for the parents / old friends as well. Lots of wonderful home cooking, relaxing at the pool or beach (or back and forth between both), time at the Turtle Pond (Ethan's highlight), drinking, laughing, playing games (Slap the Monkey with Joe!), sweating from the 100-degree heat, Heytell-ing while on the road, and just cherishing time with old friends.

There are A LOT of photos -- you can see them all here if you're interested.
