Needless to say, the trip was a blast. Some highlights included: Botanic Gardens to see the butterflies and kite festival, daily walks to Lovelace Park to feed the ducks, running through the sprinkler, going to the beach, feeding the worms, playing Go with Jiji, walks to Willard and the ice cream store, playing with Mama's friends' kids, journal writing with Momo, Navy Pier with Koko, Rina, Momo to see Tall Ships and ride on the BIG swings, then a birthday dinner for Koko and Yuji at the Slurping Turtle, American Girl store and Lego Store, Architectural boat tour, pony rides. Every day was an adventure, and the kids and I loved every minute of it. Thank you, Momo & Jiji, for having us and for making our trip so memorable!

August 2013 - Trip to Etown!
One of the major changes that happened this Summer is that Mama got a new job at Sony PlayStation! After 12 years at PINT, it was a tough decision to move on, but also a great one. The change in jobs also gave us the opportunity to go to Evanston and spend almost two weeks with Momo & Jiji! (Not Daddy though, because he used a lot of vacation time when he took the kids to Ohio in June to see Lola and Lolo.)
