The Babe goes rock climbing

...well...sorta. We headed out to Mission Trails today with our friends Eve, John, and Ecco to do some hiking and rock climbing. The Babe and her friend Ecco had a lot of fun playing in the rocks and dirt (on the edge of a cliff, no less) while the grownups climbed. (Actually Mama just video taped the action this time.)

Farm Chores

The Babe can probably blame her MoMo and Ojiichan for this later on in life, but Daddy & I are putting her to work early with her chores around the farm. Here she is helping out with some yard work.

Gotta protect the nugget

Since we've been taking the Babe out on rides in her new bike trailer, we've also acquired a helmet for that big noggin of hers. It took an extra week because we had to return the infant size helmet for a child size one... :) At least the cool red flames make up for how big it really is.

Knock Knock!

We realize that probably nobody else will find this nearly as exciting as Marc & I do (except maybe Chris Brown), but we finally have a nice, new, custom, pretty, WORKING door (meaning one that actually deadbolts and seals properly). We still have to stain and varnish it, but at least it's in. We're very happy with the way it turned out!

Happy Easter

The Babe put on her new Easter dress and we headed over to the Baldwins for our traditional Easter brunch and basketball. The sadness of the Hoyas losing in the NCAA tournament was overcome by the delicious food.

I Heart Craigslist #2

I've been looking for a bike trailer to tow the Babe around with for a while now. Finally, I was able to score another really great deal on Craigslist. The Babe was so excited when we brought it home that she kept climbing in and out of it. After hurrying home from work the next day, we took our first trip of many down the block.

Can we go for a ride now?
