Lola and Momo

Isobel didn't think it was fair that the grandpas got a post before her grandmas when they came to see her first. In fact, her Momo was the first visitor she got!

Lolo and Ojiichan

Isobel welcomed her grandpas to the farm for the first time. She got plenty of playtime with the both of them and loved every minute of it!

Bring On the 'Heels

The whole clan ventured out to watch the Hoyas play Vanderbilt in the Sweet Sixteen. It was the Babe's first time in a bar and wouldn't you know it, I got carded and she didn't! Although they were down early, the Hoyas prevailed in the end despite the refs( one free throw in the last 14 mins for the hoyas but vandy gets their last 7 pts from the free throw line?)....and no, he DID NOT travel (see the NCAA rulebook Rule 4, Section 66. Art. 4. After coming to a stop and establishing the pivot foot: a. The pivot foot may be lifted, but not returned to the playing court, before the ball is released on a pass or try for goal).

Smile, You're On Camera

We finally caught the Babe smiling on video...

Hook 'Em Horns

The little Babe got all dressed up in her UT gear to cheer on the 'horns in the NCAA tournament. She even put on her lucky cowboy boots sent straight from Austin for good luck. Unfortunately, the eyes of Texas were not shining down on the team as they lost to USC. Hey, at least UT beat them in football where it matters most! Sorry Auntie Monique and Uncle Neal :(

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Although it might not be apparent from her looks, Isobel is actually part Irish! Her MoMo's father, Great Grandpa Mooney, was Irish. Thanks to MoMo & Ojichan's neighbors, the Tuckers, she has an adorable St. Patrick's Day outfit. Mama and Daddy put the outfit on her today to celebrate.

Woman of a Thousand Faces

Here's a video of the little Babe taken a few weeks ago. She's just hanging out on her Einstein mat and making faces.

We be illin'

No, not illin' like Run DMC. A nasty bug has hit the farm and i've been out of commission for the last three days. The poor little babe caught a fever too and we had to take her to see the docs. Even Gummies hasn't been herself lately! The only one strong enough to ward off those nasty bugs has been Mama, who has the unenviable task of taking care of three babies all at once.

We have the same mommy?

After Isobel spent some quality time with her sister, Gumbo, she sat quietly and wondered to herself, "Do we really have the same mommy?" :-)

From Tikrit, With Love

Isobel got her first letter yesterday! It was from her Aunt Koko who is all the way in Tikrit, Iraq. Izzy read it intently and was very impressed with Aunt Koko's beautiful drawing of a helicopter. She can't wait to meet her kooky aunt in person!

Fetch

The old girl on the farm was feeling left out of the blog so i've posted a video of her playing fetch with me. Unfortunately, she's not that good at actually bringing the ball back.

My Favorite Place

Out of all the places on the whole farm, Isobel's favorite place to hang out is the changing table. I think it's because we seem to be there for most of the day. Sometimes i think she dirties her diaper just so she can hang out on the table one more time.

The Babe Goes to Work

Since Dad was too tired to ride his bike home, Mama came with Isobel to pick him up from work. It was the Babe's first visit to the office and she got to meet almost all of Dad's co-workers as she was passed around from person to person. Afterwards, she decided that life in a cubicle is no way to live and back to the farm we went.
